Systems geared for overclocking

iBuyPower has introduced its latest flagship gaming system, the Erebus. The new desktop computer is available in several configurations, each designed for overclocking. Customers can choose from various liquid cooling options for heat dissipation, with up to four radiators and 13mm tubing capable of pumping 4.5 gallons per minute.

The basic Erebus-E1 setup integrates Intel's Core i5-2400 processor, along with NVIDIA's 1GB GTX 550Ti graphics card. Other standard options include 4GB of DDR3 memory, a 500GB hard drive, and Windows Home 7 Premium pre-installed. Two other E-series offerings are based on Intel's Core i5-2400K processors.

The V-series Erebus options are based on Intel's Core i7 processors, including the six-core 3.47GHz i7-990X Extreme. Graphics options range from NVIDIA's 1GB GTX 560 up to a three-card configuration with GTX 580 components.

iBuyPower is now shipping the Erebus desktops, which range in price from $1249 to $6899 depending on custom options.
