Pricing matches 32GB iPad

HP's 10.1-inch TouchPad tablet has reportedly surfaced in Walmart's inventory, with the 32GB Wi-Fi variant paired with a $599 price tag. Screenshots from the retailer's internal computer systems, which were posted on PreCentral, suggest the device will arrive on the market with a price structure that matches Apple's iPad.

Although the Walmart leak appears to be limited to the 32GB variant, earlier leaks suggest HP will sell the 16GB edition for $499. Pricing for the seven-inch models and possible 3G/4G-equipped tablets have yet to surface, however.

The 10.1-inch TouchPads are expected to hit store shelves sometime in June.
