Best Buy promo materials let slip launch details

Marketing materials seen at Best Buy shows that Hulu Plus on TiVo is imminent. The materials also show that TiVo Premiere owners will get 6 months free streaming through the service when it launches. The Hulu Plus service has successfully launched across a several platforms including the Xbox 360, the iPad and Android devices.

The Hulu Plus service allows users to subscribe to premium TV shows and movies for $8 per month. In return for the fee, users are subjected to fewer advertisements and a wider range of content versus the ad supported standard Hulu service. An additional feature is that the streaming content is delivered in 720p and can be viewed on computers, smartphones, tablets, consoles, smart TVs and set-top-boxes. [via Zats Not Funny]
