Xbox Live Marketplace faces short outage

Xbox Live Marketplace briefly inassecible

Just like Sony's PlayStation Store, the Xbox Live Marketplace has gone down, albeit for a short period and unspecified and likely unrelated reason. The Xbox support team informed users over Twitter that the service is back up. During the outage, users were unable to browse Indie games from the Xbox 360 console or Xbox.com.

They also couldn't browse Games for Windows on Live Marketplace on a PC nor the Games Marketplace from both the console and website.

As promised, Microsoft was on top of the issue and quickly resolved, though it didn't explain what the issue was.
