Printer arrives at Bloomingdale's NYC flagship

Polaroid has finally begun shipping its GL10 instant printer, which was part of the company's Grey Label lineup that was borne of a Lady Gaga promotion early in the year. The portable printer creates 3- by 4-inch instant prints using second-generation ZINK (zero ink) technology for resistance to smudges. Users can queue pictures using a USB connection or Bluetooth, while the internal battery is claimed to last for 35 prints.

The GL10 has arrived at Bloomingdale's flagship store in New York City, while pre-orders can be placed at Polaroid.com. HSN.com will begin taking pre-orders on May 27, before the printer arrives in retail locations beginning June 20.

The printer carries a $170 price tag, with 30-sheet packs of paper available for $20. [via SlashGear and CNET]
