MSI takes the wraps of the Enjoy 7 and Enjoy 10

MSI has unveiled its new low-cost 7- and 10-inch Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) tablets at Computex 2011. The Enjoy 7 and Enjoy 10 incorporate the same architecture. They are both powered by ARM Cortex A8 processors running at 1.2GHz and matched with 512MB of DDR3 RAM. To keep the cost down, both also ship with only 4GB of flash memory on board, but include microSD slots that can accommodate up to 32GB of additional storage.

Connectivity is provided by Wi-Fi (802.11 b/g/n), Bluetooth 2.1+EDR as well as an HDMI port and a USB port. Both also sport a front facing 2-megapixel webcam. Sensors include an accelerometer, ambient light and a digital compass.

Where they differ apart from their screen size, is in battery capacity and weight. The Enjoy 7 capacitive multi-touch display has a resolution of 800x480 pixels, while packing a 3500mAh battery and weighing in at 395g. The 10-inch 1024x768 Enjoy 10 incorporates a 4700mAh battery, while weighing in a 795g.

The devices are expected to ship from August with the 10-inch model coming in at under $300.[via Notebook Italia]
