Radio Shack gives away Evo 3D release date

An early Radio Shack flyer has given away Sprint's launch date for HTC's long in the works Evo 3D. The copy shows the twin-core Android flagship "available June 24" and confirms that official pre-orders will have started as soon as the flyer goes out for the week of June 19. The Phandroid tip didn't mention the price, though a $200 cost has been mentioned in one of Radio Shack's earlier copies.

The retail chain has already been taking 'secret' pre-orders much like Best Buy for customers who were committed to the Evo 3D more than a month in advance.

HTC's phone is likely to be its most advanced in the US. While basically the Sensation underneath with a 4.3-inch 540x960 display and a dual-core 1.2GHz Snapdragon, it replaces one camera with two to record 3D photos and videos while adding glasses-free 3D to the screen. Every version has Android 2.3 with HTC's new Sense 3.0 interface, adding extras such as launching apps from the lock screen.
