Amazon takes early sales for Steve Jobs bio

Well ahead of its intended schedule, Amazon has put up a pre-order page for the officially sanctioned Steve Jobs biography, iSteve: The Book of Jobs. The bookseller gives it a tentative ship date of March 6, 2012 as well as an advance $20 price a third lower than what it should cost when it arrives. The book also has a cover, although it might be a placeholder and not the final look.

Walter Isaacson's book has the potential to be one of the most sought-after biographies in recent memory due to Steve Jobs' frequent secrecy surrounding his personal life. Along with remaining silent on the conditions affecting his recent health until a hospital confirmation, the CEO has usually discouraged any unofficial biography. The Wiley book iCon earned scorn from Steve Jobs and saw Wiley titles pulled from Apple retail stores.

Little is known about the contents of iSteve. However, the well-known biographer is known to be going beyond Jobs himself to interview colleagues, rivals, and others who know Jobs personally and professionally. As such, it's expected to present opposing views along with Jobs' view of events.

    Livers

I hope it doesn't omit the part about stealing an orphan's liver.

    The book should be goood...

can't get over the Title or the corny picture. This is will be fodder for Apple haters.

Can't believe Steve would have sanctioned the book title or front cover art.
