Milestone 3 specs expected to match Droid 3 in US

Motorola's Milestone 3 -- the international adaptation of the Droid 3 -- has already been reviewed ahead of an official unveiling. The China-based site Xda.cm reportedly obtained the handset, confirming a number of specs such as a four-inch qHD display, eight-megapixel primary camera, VGA front-facing camera, and an HDMI output.

The site was mostly critical of the device, taking issue with the company's choice of 512MB of RAM and PenTile display technology. Performance and other considerations are said to fall well short of other players, including the Galaxy S II and HTC Sensation.

Motorola's Milestone and Droid offerings typically carry similar hardware, though it remains unclear if the company will tweak the design for a US launch. [via Droid-Life]
