Word suggestions presented horizontally

Swype is currently preparing to update its self-titled keyboard utility with several new features. Version 3.0 will bring predictive text recognition, which is expected to further reduce the time it takes to type certain words. Users will also be able to take advantage of a horizontal list for word choices, rather than a popup window.

For Android-based tablets running Honeycomb builds, the update provides new options for resizing the keyboard presentation or moving it to different locations on the screen.

A Swype 3.0 beta briefly appeared, however the release has been taken down. The company suggests it "Swyped too soon," causing the beta server to crash. A schedule for rereleasing the beta remains unclear [via All Things D]
