HTC Evo 4G patch coming soon
The HTC Evo 4G is to receive an over the air update to patch the device within the next few days. The patch restores Netflix and visual voicemail to device after the most recent update resulted in killing the features on install for many users. The bug crept in for users who upgraded the phone from Android 2.2 (Froyo) to Android 2.3 (Gingerbread).
Unlike many Android devices, which have in the past shipped with a version of the OS that never received an update, or received it up to twelve or more months after its release, the Evo 4G has been well-supported. In the space of twelve months it has received two major updates.
Android 2.3 enhancements for the Evo 4G include better performance, interface tweaks and better power management. [via Android Police]

Source for the slur?
The author claims, "many Android devices, which have in the past shipped with a version of the OS that never received an update." Does the author have a source for this claim? Can the author provide a list of Android phones that have not received an OS update? Or is this just more baseless Android bashing?
