Dedicated Website demos IE9 Mobile's capabilities

Microsoft has created a dedicated Website to demonstrate the capabilities of its Internet Explorer 9 Mobile. The site, the Internet Explorer Test Drive, provides 15 samples of the look and feel of the future version of Windows Phone's browser. IE9 Mobile will be released in conjunction with the Mango update in the fall.

The samples cover four areas where Microsoft hopes to demonstrate IE9 Mobile's capabilities compared alternative browsers, such as Firefox and Safari. These areas include HTML5, performance, graphics, and the browsing experience.

One sample, Speed Reading, actually identifies a user's current browser and creates a comparative speed test.
