HTC may unveil new device on June 27
HTC was said late Monday to be holding a special event in London on June 27 where it would unveil new devices. Few details were available, but it would supposedly be preceded by an event in Utretcht four days earlier. The presentation would show "where design and advanced technology can lead," Planet Android understood.
What if anything would be released would be difficult to determine. Most of the company's phone lineup for the year has been unveiled. Speculation suggests that it may be the Puccini, a dual-core, 10-inch Android 3 tablet destined for the US through AT&T. An international version might not necessarily have the LTE of the American model.
Other candidates could include the Kingdom and Rider. HTC might also want to show its Flyer tablet upgraded to Android 3.2.
HTC hasn't independently confirmed the plans.
