Guest stars Michael J. Fox in two cameo roles

TellTale Games has completed its five-episode run of Back to the Future: The Game, with the fifth chapter now available for Mac, Windows and soon for the iPad. The game series charts a sequel to the blockbuster movie trilogy, continuing the adventures of Doc Brown (voiced by Christopher Lloyd himself) and Marty McFly (voiced by soundalike AJ LoCascio).

In the final episode, "Outatime," Michael J. Fox (who played Marty in the films) joins the cast in a special guest appearance playing two new characters. The entire game series has been a collaboration between TellTale and Bob Gale, the original co-creator and co-writer of the films, and the games go to great lengths to re-create the atmosphere and feel of the movie's vision of the past as well as its "present" (1986).

In the previous episode, Marty had to go back to 1931 to convince a younger Doc Brown and his sweetheart Edna Strickland not to get married -- or the future he knows will cease to exist. In the newest instalment, Marty races to set right the events of his adventures and rectify the complications of the past to save 1986 -- and beyond. The game features fast-paced action and puzzles, and the developer promises a "stunning" conclusion that should please fans of the movie series.

Today is the last day to buy the entire game series for a flat rate of $20. Those who have not yet started the game series can download the first episode for free -- the Mac and PC versions from the TellTale Games website, or the HD version for the iPad from the App Store.
