Handset borne of collaboration with Sprint
Motorola is reportedly readying another Sprint handset that pairs a touchscreen with a portrait-oriented QWERTY keyboard. Leaked images posted on Pop Herald show the Android-based device, which appears to be built with a similar form to Motorola's XPRT smartphone. It is unclear if the offering represents a successor to the XPRT.
The handset is said to offer Android 2.3, though a full list of specs has yet to surface. The QWERTY keyboard appears to switch from the XPRT's straight rows in favor of a curved layout, while the housing is more rounded.
Motorola and Sprint have yet to formally unveil the new device. Launch timing and further details remain unclear.
