Stream music from iOS docked or via Bluetooth

Soundfreaq have updated their Bluetooth and universal iDevice audio speaker Sound Platform with a new "ghost" color to match white iPhones, iPods and iPads (and can also work with Android and Blackberry devices). The critically-acclaimed home speaker dock allows users to access music remotely either by docking the device or via Bluetooth streaming, letting users continue to use the device as their home audio system plays.

The "modern retro" design (created in conjunction with LA-based design firm Boomarang) supports Bluetooth audio delivery from a range of about 30 feet from computers as well as mobile devices, and can stream audio for music, movies, TV shows, games, internet radio, YouTube and other services. It features Kevlar-reinforced 2x4ohm, 2.75-inch full range balanced drivers, an acoustically tuned dual-port chamber and a UQ3 spatial enhancement processor. Users of iOS products can download a free remote control app from the App Store.

In addition to the Apple 30-pin connector used for iOS devices and other iPods, the unit has a 3.5mm line in jack for input from other devices. In addition to the "Ghost" color, the unit is available in black and red from Target stores or online from Amazon. The black and red versions sell for $199; the new white model is priced at $179.
