HTC Eternity spotted with 1.5GHz chip, Mango

A photo and specs of an upcoming Windows Phone 7 flagship smartphone from HTC have surfaced thanks to German site HTCInside. The device, known as the Eternity, is said to sport a huge 4.7-inch touchscreen with 800x480 resolution. Otherwise, there is a single-core, 1.5GHz processor (likely a Snapdragon) onboard along with 16GB of integrated storage space.

An eight-megapixel camera with 720p video recording capability, auto-focus and dual LED flash is out back, while a 1.3-megapixel camera faces the front. Other features include DLNA media sharing, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and a GPS module. A 1,650mAh battery is inside as well.

On the software side Windows Phone 7's Mango update, will be preinstalled. The newer OS precludes the Eternity from launching before fall. [via EverythingWM]
