16GB Toshiba Thrive due at Best Buy on July 10
Toshiba's Thrive tablet will come to Best Buy in 16GB Wi-Fi guise on July 10. This is the first hint of a ship date for the Android 3.1-powered tablet, which went on pre-order on June 13. The devices are already in stock at some Best Buy stores, according to an Engadget tipster.
The 10.1-inch tablet will have a 1280x800 touchscreen display and use NVIDIA's Tegra 2 processor. Unlike some other Android tablets, it will have a user-removable battery and rear covers that can be easily switched over.
While prices aren't confirmed at Best Buy, it's expected the mid-pack 16GB tablet will cost $479.
