Samsung YouTube vid details TouchWiz interface
Samsung has just posted a 12-minute long video (embedded below) that shows off both new and known features of the Galaxy Tab 10.1. Most interestingly, the upcoming TouchWiz interface is shown off in the video in much detail. Similar to what was shown at CTIA, the interface will include six Mini Apps that are preloaded and include a calendar, task manager, clock, notepad, calculator, and music player.
Also detailed is the Reader's Hub from Samsung that users can access to buy e-books, newspapers and magazines from a very large library. A music store, dubbed Music Hub and powered by 7digital, will also be on tap in addition to the usual Movie Hub.
Despite all the details, when the update will be released for the Galaxy Tab hasn't been revealed. The very existence of the video suggests it's sometime soon, however. Whether access to the media hubs will arrive at the same time is unknown.

Not for the average user
Congratulations, you've created an interface less intuitive than a desktop operating system. Some people will use the interface to its fullest, but the average person wants a tablet to be much easier to use, even if it does mean having a few less features.
