Clear Spot 4G router supports up to eight devices

Clear, who operates the 4G WiMAX network, has branded a 4G hotspot with an LCD display, as revealed by an FCC report. Manufactured by Gemtek, the device carries the WIXFMM-122 model number, but it's more likely the device will be known as the Clear Spot 4G when it arrives. It is said to support up to eight devices with its Wi-Fi connection.

The small LCD screen will display signal strength, network status, Wi-Fi network ID and password and state of battery charge. When the device reaches the market or what it will cost remains to be seen, but it's likely to arrive sometime this summer. [via Wireless Goodness]
