3.9-foot cord, interchangeable ear tips

Pioneer Electronics has released a new set of water-resistant, washable earbud headphones -- intended for exercising or other activities where sweat, dust or risk of water immersion is an issue. The SE-CL331 earbuds (U.S. website not yet updated) are safe in up to one meter (3.3 feet) of water and come with four interchangeable ear tips, as well as an extra-long 3.9-foot cord for increased flexibility.

The 9mm drivers in the SE-CL331 offer deep bass response and are rated at 10-20k hertz with a 16-ohm impedance. They feature an ear holder to keep the earphones in place while exercising as well as a cord clip to reduce strain. The ear tips come in extra-small, small, medium and large sizes for maximum comfort, and will help decrease the amount of outside noise. A matching carrying pouch is also included.

The earbuds are available in either pink, blue, yellow, green, purple or white versions, with an expected retail price of $60. They will be available everywhere Pioneer accessories are sold.
