Clifckfree ships four versions of new C6 drive

Clickfree has just unveiled its latest external backup drive, the C6 Easy Imaging. The mobile versions are powered by a USB port and all drives are designed to offer quick, easy back-up for those who aren't tech-savvy. It's compatible with Windows operating systems out of the box, though Macs can format it, and can use Easy Run software on Windows PCs to backup automatically. Users then simply pick what they want to back up by category.

If a computer crashes or gets attacked by a virus, an Easy Fix app will restore all backed up files, which can include the operating system. Users can choose to restore personal files to their state from as little as 10 minutes ago, while the operating system can be backed up from between two weeks to six months ago, for example.

The drive is now shipping, priced at $140 for the 500GB portable model, $180 for the 1TB model and $150 for the desktop 1TB model and $180 for the 2TB desktop model.
