Comcast updates Xfinity TV tablet, iPhone apps
Comcast just announced that its Xfinity TV app is now available for Android 3.0-powered tablets such as Motorola's Xoom. The free app allows Comcast cable subscribers to browse TV listings by area and browse On Demand libraries as well as search either database. The Xoom is guaranteed to support the app, but other Android 3.1 tablets with a 1280x800 resolution should also support the new app.
They can also filter content by type, network, resolution, cost and other criteria. The app and tablet work as a remote control as well, letting users tune to On Demand content or change channels, as well as schedule DVR recordings. Viewers need a compatible Comcast set-top box.
The app was also recently updated for the iPad and iPhone (free, App Store), now in version 1.5.3. It is said to fixes key issues reported by users and has further reliability and stability improvements.

Too bad comcast doesn't release the hardware required to use the apps.
