Game appears in leaked video

Corroborating earlier reports, Roku may be preparing to launch the popular game Angry Birds for the company's upcoming line of second-generation set-top boxes. A YouTube video briefly showed Rokue 2 packaging with references to Angry Birds. The video was quickly pulled, likely at the request of the company, but it was later reposted by Engadget.

Details surrounding the game offering remain unclear, though the feature may be limited to the high-end model, the 3100X, which provides a Bluetooth-connected remote.

The hardware lineup is also expected to include a 720p entry-level variant to complement the 1080p editions. Other likely specs include 802.11n Wi-Fi and a microSD slot, while the top model is also said to integrate a USB 2.0 port and an Ethernet connection.

Roku has yet to announce pricing or launch information for the set-top boxes. [via Zatz Not Funny]
