HTC Kingdom to hit Sprint as Hero 4G

ROM reveals HTC Kingdom will be Hero 4G at Sprint


The HTC Kingdom smartphone due at Sprint and leaked back in May will be known as the Hero 4G, according to a user posting a comment in the original PocketNow report. The user, override182, found this out when peeking at the Kingdom ROM loaded onto his Desire HD.

Whatever name it launches under, the handset will sport a single-core 1.2GHz Snapdragon processor, 768MB of RAM and a four-inch qHD display, according to the early specs. There will also be a 1.3-megapixel front camera, a five-megapixel rear shooter and Bluetooth 3.0. Android 2.3.3 would be preloaded as well. A WiMAX 4G data connection is also present and the Bluetooth chip will have the ability to receive and transmit FM broadcasts.

Shipping and pricing information for the Hero 4G remains unknown.
