U-verse Mobile app comes to Infuse 4G, HD7S, more

AT&T has once again expanded the number of phones that can access its U-verse Mobile app for watching TV shows and scheduling recordings. The newly added Android-powered devices include the LG Thrive and variant LG Phoenix along with the Samsung Infuse 4G, with the Windows Phone-powered HTC HD7S getting the functionality as well. This makes the app available on more than 20 devices and four different operating systems.

The U-verse Mobile library contains more than 100 TV series and over 700 TV shows from various genres. The app lets all U-verse TV subscribers browse the program guide and schedule and manage DVR recordings. Those with compliant plans can watch TV shows right from their compatible smartphones. While accessing the program guide and scheduling recordings works over either the data network or a Wi-Fi connection, watching TV is only available over Wi-Fi.
