We review the iOS-influenced Mac OS X Lion update
Some have argued that Apple faced its first major challenge on the desktop in some time when Windows 7 arrived; how do you improve your interface when Microsoft managed to tackle many gripes in one fell swoop and arguably had its best release ever? Apple's answer in Mac OS X Lion is to take a cue from an even simpler interface on the iPad. But is this the way of the future, or an instance of company synergy run amok? We'll see in our Mac OS X Lion review if Apple's made a smart bet and if Microsoft has to catch up once more.

" May face a tough challenge from Windows 8, whenever it ships."
It only took this to make me want to stop reading. I have even shown the windows 8 previews to long time windows users and they don't even want to upgrade to windows 8. I really doubt there will be a challenge for windows 8 other then trying to sell it.
