IdeaPad/LePad A1-07 spotted at the FCC

A new tablet from Lenovo has appeared at the FCC. It bears the IdeaPad A1-07 and LePad A1-07 names, which would likely be the same device sold in different markets. The only technical specification confirmed by the listing is the presence of a Bluetooth radio.

Expected to be the slimmer than the LePad promised back in March, it would likely be an evolutionary device. But with the IdeaPad K1 sporting a 10-inch screen, the A1-07 designation of the new device hints this may be a smaller, seven-inch version. As the 10-inch LePad costs under $500, the seven-inch version is likely to cost much less than that.

Like the other related Lenovo tablets, it's expected to run on Android with Lenovo's custom Launch Zone UI and the Lenovo App Shop. [via Engadget]
