Xbox 360 LE Kinect Star Wars brings 320GB drive

Microsoft confirmed a recent rumor by unveiling what might be its most elaborate special edition Xbox 360 yet. The Xbox 360 Limited Edition Kinect Star Wars pack includes an elaborately color-matched set of hardware that includes the core console in R2-D2 skin, a wireless gamepad in gold chrome like C-3PO, and a first-ever white Kinect camera. The system is also Microsoft's first to pack a 320GB hard drive and has custom R2-D2 power-on and eject sounds.

As anticipated, the software bundle includes both Kinect Star Wars itself as well as special downloadables. Kinect Adventures still comes inside and is matched up with the usual wired headset from higher-end Xbox 360s.

The Limited Edition may be one of the more expensive bundles Microsoft has released and will cost $450, though the premium is relatively slight compared to a normal 250GB Kinect box. Systems should ship when the game does sometime in the holiday.
