ASUS Eee Slider hits FCC

Bluetooth 3.0 confirmed, no official date yet
A test report for ASUS' Eee Pad Slider's Bluetooth 3.0 capability has been posted to the FCC website. The test confirms SL101 model number and supports a statement by the company that the the tablet would ship in September. When it debuted at CES 2011, the Eee Pad Slider SL101 was to arrive in May.
A 3G version of the tablet was expected but has not been confirmed. The test report notes only that other wireless test will be submitted separately. Other that the slide-out keyboard from which its name is derived, the Eee Pad Slider SL101 is said to have virtually the same specifications as the Eee Pad Transformer, such as an IPS 10.1-inch touchscreen and 1 GHz NVIDIA Tegra 2 processor. The tablet runs Android Gingerbread, and might ship with version 3.1.
ASUS has not announced pricing or availability for the Eee Pad Slider SL101 for the US market.
