iBuyPower outs Professional Series of PCs

iBuyPower pro PCs get Core i7s, NVIDIA GPUs
iBuyPower has launched a new Professional Series of desktop workstation PCs for creative professionals, all offering Intel's second-generation Core i7 processors. While all can be customized, they also share RAID cards and NVIDIA Quadro graphics cards. The Z68 is at the bottom of the range, with a 3.4GHz Core i7, 8GB of RAM and a 1GB NVIDIA GeForce GT 520. It touts a 1TB hard drive, a DVD burner, and a 650W power supply. All systems get Windows 7 Professional in 64-bit form.
Next is the Xeon model, which outfits its namesake 3.3GHz Intel Xeon E3-1240 CPU, 8GB of RAM, and a 1GB NVIDIA Quadro 600 graphics card. It gets dual 1TB hard drives as well as the same DVD burner and 650W power supply.
Finally, the X58 has a six-core 3.2GHz Core i7-960 as standard fare, 12GB of RAM, and a 1GB NVIDIA Quadro 5000. In addition to two 1TB hard drives, there is a 120GB Intel SSD for a boot drive. The same optical drive is carried over, but a 750W power supply does duty here.
The Professional Series PCs are now available and start at $1,069.
