Triumph owners reporting screen, camera issues

Owners of the Motorola Triumph are reporting several issues with their devices. For one, the touchscreen is suffering from a flickering issue and the five-megapixel camera doesn't autofocus. Exchanging the device with Virgin Mobile for a new one doesn't fix the issue either, prompting the theory that the problem lies in the software rather than the hardware.

Some owners say their Triumphs produce photos with a yellow and green tint (pictured). Adjusting the settings and resetting the phone to factory-issued ones didn't fix this. It's likely an upcoming software update will fix these problems.

The problems mar what was to be a promising launch for the Triumph. The phone is one of the most advanced ever for prepaid users and gets away from the tendency to limit prepaid users to low-end devices as an attempt to push them up to regular subscriptions. [via TechCrunch]
