Olympus SZ-11 slips out in subtle move
Olympus is a virtually unnoticed move has rolled out a new ultrazoom camera in the US. The SZ-11 builds on its predecessor with a longer-reaching but potentially dimmer 20X, f3-6.9 lens. The more current entry gets a larger 16-megapixel sensor (up from 14) as well as a higher ISO 3,200 sensitivity.
Both share 720p video recording and a three-inch, 460,000-pixel LCD. The SZ-11 adds two new Art Filters and is also considerably faster than its predecessor, shooting full-size images twice as quickly at 1.7 frames per second, ranging up to 7FPS for a five-second burst. Dropping down to five megapixels also nets about 50 percent faster shooting at 15FPS.
The SZ-11 doesn't have a definite release date but will cost $280 with black, red, and silver as color options.

Olympus......
This company is virtually ignored by most people. I've been using olympus cameras since 2005, and personally they are my manufacturer of choice and likely will be for a very long time. It gets the job done and the cameras are reliable and very user friendly. I'm surprised more people, especially mac users dont flock to them. They have a high ease of use factor, and are often more for the money than competitors.
