Plan covers 40 European countries

XCom Global has begun offering US users traveling to Europe unlimited internet data access in over 40 European countries with a single SIM card. The Euro SIM card, in conjunction the company's Europe Travel Plan, costs $13 per day for a USB modem, and $15 per day for a mobile hotspot that works with multiple devices. The company claims this is the first such trans-European plan to be offered.

In conjunction with this new plan, XCom has added coverage for over 20 countries for which it had not previously provided service including Denmark, Finland, Norway, Iceland, Hungary and Portugal.

After this introductory promotional offer, pricing for the unlimited service will be $15 per day for a USB data modem, and $18 per day for a MiFi mobile hot spot device. Price for use in a country not covered by the unlimited agreement is one-cent per kilobyte. [via Engadget]
