Both smartphones expected to launch August 16

A leak reportedly details the launch time-frame for RIM's BlackBerry Bold 9900 and Torch 9810 smartphones through the Canadian carrier Bell. Screenshots allegedly showing the carrier's internal documents, which were posted by CrackBerry, suggest both the Bold 9900 and Torch 9810 will be available at Bell on August 16.

The leak corroborates several other reports pointing to rumored launch dates for the handsets. Both devices are also expected to launch at Bell competitor Telus on August 15, ahead of the Torch 9860 launch on August 22.

For US customers, the Bold 9900 is expected to arrive at T-Mobile on August 31. It is unclear if other carriers will offer the device in the same time-frame as the Canadian launch.
