Best Buy offers bargain Pandigital Nova Android tablet

Inexpensive tablet with surprising flourishes


Best Buy is now offering the Pandigital Nova Digital Reader on its website. The bargain tablet features Android 2.3, an 800MHz processor, and a 7-inch, 600 x 800 TFT LCD screen. It has 4GB RAM onboard as well as a microSD expansion slot, plus one mini USB 2.0 port and a micro HDMI out. The Nova reader also has front- and rear-facing cameras and a built-in microphone and speakers for web chat, and 802.11n Wi-Fi connectivity.

Barnes & Noble bookstore software, most likely the Nook app. (free, Market), is preloaded.

The Pandigital Nova Digital Reader is on sale now at the Best Buy website. The price is $170.
