Download resolves sleep issue

Toshiba has finally released a software update for its Thrive tablet. The company several weeks ago acknowledged a software problem that was preventing some users from waking the tablets from sleep mode, requiring a reboot. The download promises to fix the sleep bug.

Aside from the sleep-resume fix, Toshiba also claims the software update improves the multimedia playback capabilities. The company has yet to disclose further details regarding the multimedia improvements, however.

The update is now available through the Toshiba Service Station app preloaded on the tablets.
