Huawei Vision with Android 2.3 and unibody design unveiled

Huawei Vision, Gingerbread, aluminum unibody

Huawei has launched its Vision Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) handset. The phone is set apart from other Android handsets by its use of an aluminum unibody. It also incorporates a custom 3D user interface and is powered by a second-generation Qualcomm Snapdragon single-core processor clocked at 1GHz.

At its thinnest point, the phone is 9.9mm, while it weighs in at 121grams. It supports 5-megapixel auto-focus camera also supports 720p video recording. Connectivity is provided by way of Bluetooth 2.1 with A2DP and Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n Internet connectivity. It also supports push e-mail and instant messaging.

The Huawei Vision will be available in selected markets from September with pricing to be determined. When it lands, it will come pre-installed with Angry Birds, Asphalt 6: Adrenaline, Order & Chaos Online, and Guerrilla Bob HD.
