VoIP company looking for WP7 experience

Skype may be preparing to bring its video chat functionality to the Windows Phone platform. The company's careers site currently includes a job listing for a video software engineer to help deliver the Skype Video Engine on mobile and embedded devices. Windows Phone experience is explicitly listed as a "big plus."

"As an Engineer in the Microsoft Platforms team, you are responsible for building and optimizing the Skype Video Engine solution for Microsoft Windows and Windows Phone platforms," the listing reads.

Skype and Microsoft have yet to publicly confirm plans to bring a video chat app to the latter company's mobile platform, though such a move has been seen as inevitable as the software giant moves forward with its plans to acquire the VoIP company.
