BlackBerry Bold 9900, new Torches priced in Canada

The top three Canadian carriers have not only unveiled their plans to carry the BlackBerry Bold 9900 and new BlackBerry Torches but given the clue as to pricing that will likely translate to the US. Rogers has said that both the 9810 and the 9860 will cost $200 when attached to a three-year contract. The Bold 9900 will carry an unusual premium at $250 on the same terms.

Bell and Telus have also committed to carrying all three new phones but haven't given out their own pricing. Both are expected to stay competitive. all three carriers should have at least one new BlackBerry before the end of the month, and all of the phones should be in stores before the end of the summer.

US pricing hasn't been set, although most US carriers have similar pricing but with shorter two-year contracts. AT&T is due to carry the Torch 9810 this month with the 9860 following. Sprint and US Cellular are joining as well. A chance exists that the Bold 9900 will see T-Mobile on August 31.
