Sony tablets not expected until September

Images from the support site for the upcoming Sony S1 and S2 have leaked and contain a few surprises. The source says the images were taken from the "Troubleshooting" page for the devices and purportedly show screenshots of the S1 tablet. The page has has since been pulled down. An image that seems to be from the Settings app shows the tablet shipping with Android 3.2. Other screenshots appear to be part of a walkthrough on setting up Chumby apps and the Zinio magazine reader app.

Other images leaked from the site show the tablet's touchscreen keyboard, home screen, and a Wi-Fi connection test program.

One image appears to show a proprietary design for the AC power adapter.

The support page for the S1 and S2 is no longer available on the Sony website. [via Carrypad]
