Lenovo intros desktop, monitors for businesses
Lenovo has just introduced three new products aimed at small and medium businesses. This includes the ThinkCentre Edge 71 desktop PC and two desktop displayss in the new LS series. The PC is available in either a tower or small form factor and gets a choice of Intel's second-generation Core i3, Core i5 and Core i7 processors.
Other specs include a hard drive up to 1TB in capacity or smaller but faster solid state drives. Buyers can also opt for 8GB of RAM and upgrade to an unnamed AMD Radeon HD graphics card with 1GB of RAM. A DVD burner is standard, as is a gigabit Ethernet port and six USB connections.
The PC ships in October and prices start at $369.
The monitors are also meant for businesses and include the 21.5-inch LS2221 and 23.6-inch LS2421p. The LED-backlit panels offer 1080p resolution and a 10 million to one dynamic contrast ratio, along with 300 nits of brightness. Lenovo's smaller of the two gets VGA and DVI inputs, while the other trades DVI for HDMI. Either has a four-port USB hub.
The LS2221 will cost $230 and the LS2421p $300 when they arrive at the end of the month.
