TouchWiz UX update for Galaxy Tab 10.1 now live

The promised TouchWiz UX update for the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 has been released on time. The upgrade so far applies to the Wi-Fi version of the tablet and includes a new set of Live Panel apps, a tray for mini apps and a version of Swype's custom keyboard in tablet form. At the same time, the Media Hub sports a new look.

As outlined earlier, Amazon's Music Cloud Player should now be accessible, along with a preloaded Kindle app and Words with Friends. New but unspecified enterprise apps are also said to be onboard.

Users can now download the update for free. Most of the features can be turned off, though the update itself is required to get any future upgrades to Android.
