Radio Shack discounts iPhone again

Radio Shack kept the discounts going on iPhones Monday with both discounts and trade-ins. Every iPhone has been dropped by $30 for new and upgrading buyers up to and including August 20. Existing owners who swap an iPhone 3G or 3GS get as much as $150 towards an iPhone 4, depending on the exchanged models.

The trade-in pricing brings the price of an iPhone down to $20 for a 16GB version and $120 for a 32GB model.

Its discount follows just after a somewhat similar drop last week. The deal coincides with one from Target and supports notions that Apple is letting third-party stores drop the price to help clear stock ahead of new models. Although some rumors put the next iPhone as far out as October, signs have appeared that hint Apple might be ready in September.
