BlackBerry Curve 9360 has NFC, 9900 now at Rogers

A CrackBerry forums member, danny28, posted images of an as-yet unreleased BlackBerry Curve 9360 smartphone. The photos, embedded below, confirm that the device is indeed equipped with an NFC (near-field communications) radio. The handset is on the left in the comparison shots with the BlackBerry Bold 9700.

At the same time, the BlackBerry Bold 9900 has been spotted shipping in some Rogers stores in Canada, which is earlier than expected. Some of the stores contacted responded that they cannot yet sell them, citing Thursday, August 11 as the sell date for the device. Another store is selling them already, however, leading many to believe the ship date for the device isn't set in stone.

The 9900 is also getting an NFC radio, but it has a higher-resolution display with touchscreen functionality and a faster (1.2GHz vs 800MHz) processor than the Curve 9360.
