Dell Latitude XT3 convertible notebook on sale


Dell’s Latitude XT3, first detailed in February is now available on Dell’s online store. The business-class convertible laptop is priced from $1,789 and is powered by Intel’s second-generation Core processors with integrated HD 3000 graphics and up to 8GB of RAM. It centers on a 13.3-inch display and runs Windows 7.

The 1366x768 display supports multi-touch and pen input. It also comes in “Daylight Viewable” and “Reduced Glare” options. Storage starts with a 320GB spinning hard drive through to the option to fit a 256GB SSD.

The standard 6-cell 44Wh Li-Ion can be optioned to include an extended 9-cell 67Wh. A slice battery with 97Wh can be combined with either internal battery and is good for “all day power.”

The keyboard incorporates backlighting and is spill resistant, while its external case includes magnesium alloy reinforcements and meets MIL-STD-810G military standards. The XT3 weighs in at 4.46 pounds.

The Latitude XT3 is expected to begin shipping by September 22. [via Laptoping]
