Leaked advertisements point to launch dates

Sprint is reportedly ready to launch RIM's BlackBerry Torch 9850 and Bold 9930 within the next two weeks. The carrier recently confirmed plans to launch both devices, however the company did not provide details regarding release timing. Leaked advertisements posted on CrackBerry suggest both handsets will be available on August 21.

The second-generation Torch brings a 3.7-inch display with 480x800 resolution, along with a 1.2GHz processor and a five-megapixel camera. The Sprint variant serves as a CDMA edition of the 9810, taking advantage of EVDO 3G.

The 9930 also represents a CDMA variant, matching the 9900's 2.8-inch, 640x480 display and 1.2GHz processor. The device also offers NFC supports and a redesigned keyboard.

The leak suggests the Torch will be available for $150 with a new contract, while the Bold will fetch $250.
