HP TouchSmart 520 spoiled early
HP is planning a major, much slicker redesign of its TouchSmart all-in-ones. An escaped promo video shows the TouchSmart 520 having a considerably slimmer design more akin to the iMac but with its own design touches. The easel-like frame intercepted by Engadget would change to use "sweeping support arms" that would allow for easily pivoting the display.
Hardware features are slim besides an HD-level screen and Beats audio processing. It's possible HP is using a new software loadout as it talks about having a 'canvas' with many apps on one large, continuous virtual desk space.
HP usually reserves bigger desktop redesigns for CES, but the early appearance would leave the door open to a fall release. Promo videos are often made relatively soon before a product arrives and could have it ready for the early fall.

Title correction..
It should read "More "iMac Like"
Just as the "MacBook Air" models PC makers are trying to copy.
