Sony to intro 24mm, 50mm, 55-210mm NEX lenses

Sony's largely corroborated August 24 camera event has been given supporting evidence through shots of the new NEX lenses beingleaked out on forums. The event should see two lenses now expected to be primes, a wider-angle 24mm f1.8 and a more standard 50mm f1.8. The DPReview member posting the details also confirmed Sony's first true NEX-sized telephoto, a 55-210mm f4.5-6.3 lens.

Most of the details are vague, although the shots reveal that only the 55-210mm lens would have built-in image stabilization. The two fixed-distance lenses won't necessarily need the help with the wide, bright f1.8 aperture.

Prices of the lenses and their ship dates aren't known. The lenses may be relatively cheap given the darker aperture of the telephoto and the lack of stabilization on the rest. Sony like some lens makers tends to spread out releases and might not ship one or more lenses until considerably later in the year.
