HTC Holiday seen live for first time
HTC's ultimate flagship phone, the Holiday, has surfaced in live photos after it was recovered through a Craigslist sale. Both the phone's design and its firmware confirm the Infuse 4G-rivalling 4.5-inch, 540x960 display. The XDA forum member also confirmed the dual-core 1.2GHz Snapdragon, 1GB of RAM, a rear eight-megapixel camera, and a front 1.3-megapixel camera.
The Holiday's cracked screen was still enough to confirm Android 2.3.4 and at least a recent version of the Sense UI. Its choice of network is likely to be AT&T, since the phone had a "myAT&T" app in its launcher.
Most rumors have already pegged the Holiday as an AT&T device due late this year or early next. It's not known whether it will have LTE-based 4G. At a minimum, it should have 14.4Mbps HSPA or 21Mbps HSPA+ and should be one of AT&T's most advanced non-iOS devices when it ships.
